Ballytruckle Grace is a fabulous purebred welsh cob filly foal who at her first show went Champion Foal Overall under UK judge Eddie Tamplin. Mr Tamplin judged the Cuddy Final at UK HOY 2008. Mr Tamplins comments were, "She is even better than her dam."

She is a gorgeous bay filly with 3 whites, stripe and snip. She has a lovely slope to her shoulder, a bold front, powerful hindquarters and is the epitome of the old saying,"A Welsh Cob mare has the head of a duchess and the farewell of a cook!"

Her dam is Supreme of Show and Overall Champion Mare Ballytruckle Alexander Rose. Her sire is MillCreek Valiant, whose cob fillies regularly win Champion Youngstock at the NI Welsh and his tb x progeny have been competing for years with impressive wins to their credit. At her first show, the Taranaki Welsh Pony and Cob Show Feb 2008 she won Champion Foal Overall under UK judge Eddie Tamplin and Champion Youngstock Cob under UK judge Brian Foster. At her second show ever - we took her out to the NI Welsh Pony and Cob Show Feb 2011 as a 3 yo, she won Champion Youngstock C & D with about 9 C & D's present at the show and NZ Purebred from a class of 12.

Now she is four years old we are just starting to handle her more with the view of backing her before Xmas. She is very happy to be brought in to the stables and enjoys all the fussing about. She has a simply huge rump, she is very powerful with lots of look at me presence, yet calm as well, she moves with an intriguing lightness and we intend having loads of fun riding this awesome mare.
