Showtym Holiday Camp

Conor took Sally Gap to a Holiday Camp at the home of John and Heather Wilson north of Whangarei in a steaming hot valley called Huruenui. John and Heather are the parents of Vicki and Amanda who are well known in NZ for winning many titles annually in SJ and Showhunter. Kelly is the middle daughter of the Wilsons and her photography skills are on show in this article. All Photos in this article are courtesy of Showtym Holiday Camps. They have fantastic natural resources with a river ideal for swimming in just adjacent to the house, and numerous outbuildings for horses.

Conor slept with a group of other riders in a treehouse/bunkhouse which is suspended between three trees. He came back after 5 days at Camp very tired but full of stories of his new friends and their horses.

He and Sally had a great time with Conor jumping to new heights, both he and Sal won the Tip and Out jumping 1.15m, mostly he jumps Sal at 90cm, once he jumped her at 1m at Abderry in Nov but not jumped her since then.
